This original watercolor is of cherry blossoms blooming in springtime. A pine tree behind provides sharp contrast to the soft petals. Some blossoms are catching light and others are more in shadow. Some have fully bloomed and are weighed down. The painting is double-matted with an off-white mat and is under glass in a beige, grainy, wood frame with a silver lining. The framed painting measures 19 1/2” x 28 1/2”.
This watercolor can now only be bought from New England Watercolor Society at the Plymouth Center for the Arts until November 7.
