This watercolor painting is of a white dory on the beach with two rowboats spaced behind it going back towards the sea grass. The time is afternoon on a hot summer day. The dark shadows of the boats make a dramatic contrast with the light sand. There is dark seaweed on the beach left behind by the tide and mussels at the water's edge. This original watercolor painting is framed under glass with an off-white double mat in a gold and silver frame which measures 15" x 19".
